“Get a job, work hard and invest your money.” My parents always tell me, even in this economy where there is no job security and people have lost half of their money in the stock market. Our government bailed out Big companies and Wall Street but doesn’t care about average people like us. That’s why the Occupy movement is so popular. Did your parents tell you this “lie”? Getting a job is not what I need or want. I’m creating my career based on what I love to do. This is what everyone dreams of. Why aren’t there more entrepreneurs or small businesses in the U.S? I believe that there is too much regulation and taxation of startups. Do you know how much it is to incorporate a business and what IRS or the Franchise Tax Board charges? It’s no wonder we have 10-12% unemployment in California. I don’t expect or want our government’s help because I know how to get it. There are Small Business Development Centers (SBDCs) all over the country.
