| Dog of Love |
Daily exercise and
good nutrition = health. I love my dog Sparky = Fit Fun Dog. I adopted Sparky from the
shelter before Independence Day 2011. I named her Sparky for the light in her
eyes and she quickly became my exercise partner. We often go on 3-4 short walks
every day or enjoy longer strolls around our neighborhood during the weekends.
Sparky is a part of the Fit-Twist family. If you want a
canine companion, consider adopting a shelter dog.
Dogs are like us. Do
you love dogs? I love them because they are loyal and accept me as I am. If
you are afraid of dogs or dislike them, consider the possibility that you’ve
had a bad experience with one of them in the past. You know what happened and
you said to never let that happen again. The moment you declared that, you
found every wrong with all dogs. I am here to explain why you should give
canines a chance. Dogs reflect
their owners' personalities. My big sister has an Alpha dog and I have a Beta
dog. Her 5-lb dog bosses my 10-lb dog around and she lets him do it. Sparky
gets along with Gato because she has no problem accepting his natural instinct
to be a leader and her inherent inclination to be a follower. Dogs are mammals
like us. They have a sense of who they are and don’t fight their nature. We are
the ones who feel there is something wrong with them when they don’t behave the
way we want or perform up to our expectations. If
our dogs are afraid of other dogs and can’t get along with some of them, it may
be possible that we are afraid of other people and can’t deal well with certain
personalities.
