I have lived in Los Angeles for almost 30 years. I love the diversity, the beaches and of course the weather. I remember the Rodney King riots 25 years ago. Recently, our city is rocked by the George Floyd riots. I decry racism and injustice, but I cannot condone looting, destruction and lawlessness.
I am concerned that the media seems to fan the flames, to spread fear, hate and division when we need more love, hope and unity.
