Childhood Obesity Prevention Training
FREE training
on Childhood Obesity Prevention focused on strategies to prevent and
reduce childhood obesity among foster youth and youth within the child
welfare system.
Speakers
include child welfare professionals from the mental and medical health
fields who will offer actionable strategies to help
you identify and reduce childhood obesity in the families and
communities you serve.
Two
sessions are offered – morning and afternoon. Morning attendees will
be provided with a complimentary continental breakfast, and afternoon
participants will receive
a catered boxed lunch.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND: Health professionals (health educators, nurses, social workers, program directors) working with foster youth
and youth with the child welfare system.
