Imagine Living in Singapore!

Jewel Rain Vortex – the world's tallest indoor waterfall
I used Gojek (like Uber) and took the MRT (Mass Rapid Transit) to everywhere. I also walked a lot. Morning is the best time to go because there is less of a crowd and it's not as hot. I wore sneakers or comfortable walking shoes so I could walk for hours without getting sore feet. I also brought a spare compact umbrella to shade against the sun and in case of sudden showers.

We enjoyed a walking food tour - I ate Eggettes (鷄蛋仔) Chinese waffle, curry puff, fish balls (

Makansutra Gluttons Bay and Marina Bay Sands
We ate satay at Gluttons Bay before going to a concert at the Esplanade Theater/ Concert Hall. Did you know that it's shaped like a durian (a stinky fruit with spikes)? Singapore is a Foodie heaven as you can eat a variety of ethnic food any time of the day. I like cheap eats at food courts and hawker centers. Singapore is very clean and I have no fear about getting sick from street food. I used sanitizing wipes on my hands before I ate if I could not find a restroom nearby. I made the mistake of ordering too much food the first time I was at a hawker center, so I scaled back thinking I could always order more if I was still hungry after the concert.

Beat the Heat
I love the Pineapple Freeze at Pressed Juicery. I get it as a treat after my yoga class. They used to have the Matcha Freeze which is my favorite but that's no longer available. I hope they bring it back!
I love organic salad. Add cucumber, jicama, orange slices and radicchio for extra fiber and nutrients.

I loved the Matcha, CBD oil and Momo's CBD bar! Can't wait to try other varieties!

Fun in the Sun - Summer Vacay
Poolside Yoga
I can't believe that it's almost July. Half the year has gone by and soon, it'll be time to go on a road trip. Last year, I went to San Diego and had a lot of fun. Sparky and I played tourist and we loved the Balboa Park! We walked a lot and did yoga together. I can't wait to take her on a short trip soon. Vacations are good for the soul. I love to explore and enjoy nature. I'm sure Sparky loves the outdoors as much as I do. I'm looking at my calendar and planning something in mid July. Half the fun is in planning the trip.

Do You Feel It?
Despite the June gloom, Summer Solstice is just a few days away. Do you feel the days getting longer? I've been waking up around 6 am almost every day. I slept in a bit during the weekends but I was usually awake by 7 am. I get a lot done in the morning, so I can relax and enjoy myself in the afternoons and evenings. I love morning yoga and a healthy breakfast. I feel more centered and energized after my yoga practice. I've been doing yoga at the beach with my dog Sparky. I love the sound of the ocean and how it makes me feel free. I hope you feel the call to go outside, to move more and have a healthy happy Summer.

The Wellness Lifestyle

GlobalWellnessDay.org
I loved the rooftop yoga last year and can't wait to celebrate GWD this Saturday! I did a double class of yoga fusion and stretching last Saturday. Not sure if I have time to teach a class but will go to a stretch class this Saturday. Here is the 7 Step Global Wellness Manifest:
1. Walk for an hour
2. Drink more water
3. Don't use plastic bottles
4. Eat healthy food
5. Do a good deed
6. Have family dinner
7. Sleep at 10 pm
I do all of the above except 7. I go to sleep around 10:30-11 pm. Their Manifest is similar to Blue Zones and I blogged about it here
International Yoga Day is on June 21st (Summer Solstice). www.iyd.yoga
There are many other health events in June. Hope to see you at one of them.
