      Hoopurbia, Yoga & More

I am excited about the week-long hula hooping festival because it's fun and healthy. www.hoopurbia.com

I think exercise should be fun. I've signed up for a Hip-Hop dance class and will enjoy it.

I also got tickets to www.wanderlust.com at the end of April.

It's a good time to go hiking and there are many trails near me. The one I like is a full moon hike at Mandeville Canyon. No need to bring flashlights, just enjoy the view of city lights under the silver moon and escape from the crowds.

3 Ways to Keep Track of Your Health

      1. Join www.wellcoin.com

      2. Use an old-fashioned calendar - mark down your workouts, schedule a wellness checkup, etc.

      3. Be aware of new pain. Are you sore from the workout? That's normal. Did you tweak something? Does that part of your body need care? If it bothers you after you iced it, took aspirin or other OTC pain medication, then you need to see a doctor.

P.S. If you have a previous injury, let your instructor or yoga teacher know before the first class.
