Top 10 Workout Songs 2012

 Subscribe in a reader

It's usually December, when folks take a look back at the year that's passed. But, with summer just around the corner—and plenty of opportunities to get back outdoors—it seemed like a great time to recap the best workout tracks from January through May. Big beats continue to reign supreme in the gym. The workout music royalty—Pitbull, Flo Rida and Lady GaGa—make their customary appearances in the top ten. Additionally, as you might expect, the list features a handful of dance cuts—with Breathe Carolina, Rihanna, and Cobra Starship each getting the remix treatment. Lastly, adding a little variety, there are the crossover hits—both from club producers (like Avicii), rockers (like Linkin Park), or both (like the collaboration between DJ Steve Aoki and Weezer frontman Rivers Cuomo). Here's the full list, according to votes placed at Run Hundred--the web's most popular workout music blog.

To find more workout songs, folks can check out the free database at RunHundred.com. Visitors can browse the song selections there by genre, tempo, and era—to find the music that best fits with their particular workout routine.

Be Fearless

How to Be Fearless:

1) Make Big Bets and Make History. Set audacious, not incremental, goals. (Chapter 8. Dream Big)
2) Experiment Early and Often. Don’t be afraid to go first.
3) Make Failure Matter. Failure teaches. Learn from it. (Chapter 1. Don't Be Afraid to Fail)
4) Reach Beyond Your Bubble. It’s comfortable to go it alone. But innovation happens at intersections.
5) Let Urgency Conquer Fear. Don’t overthink and overanalyze. Do. (Chapter 6. Do What You Love) http://www.fit-twist.net

In 2012 and beyond, inspired by the challenges we face and the opportunities we are afforded, we’re officially declaring our intention to Be Fearless in all that we do … in our approach to philanthropy, social change, and social good — and we hope you’ll join us in this journey. It's time for us to be bold, act with urgency, and embrace risks with potential to produce exponential social returns. It's time for us to Be Fearless! So what does that mean? Check out our new Be Fearless website and find out.
